The In-House Lab
"Most offices mail your smile to a lab across the country. Ours is designed, shaded, and finished under one roof."

The Process

Your new smile — step by step.

01

Consultation & Design

Your smile is planned against your facial features and shade — photos, shade mapping, and honest recommendations before any tooth is touched.

02

Conservative Prep & Temporaries

Where porcelain is chosen, we remove only about a fingernail's thickness of enamel and place natural-looking temporaries while your veneers are crafted.

03

The Test Drive

Live with your temporaries for a bit, then come back in to review them — shape, length, feel. Request any refinements; your feedback shapes the final design.

04

Crafted & Refined

Your final veneers are layered and shaded — with our in-house lab giving us direct design, shading, and same-visit adjustment control, and Dr. Khan directing the aesthetics case by case.

05

Try-In & Reveal

You see and approve the result before final bonding — fit, shade, and bite are fine-tuned with you in the chair.

Common Questions

Veneers in Sacramento — FAQ.

How much do veneers cost in Sacramento?
At Lush Dental Studio, composite veneers are $750 per tooth and porcelain veneers are currently $1,700 per tooth (regularly $2,200) — published Sacramento pricing runs up to $2,500+ per porcelain veneer. Most smile designs involve 4–12 upper teeth, and every case is quoted individually — request your exact quote. 0% APR financing may be available to qualified applicants, subject to credit approval and financing-provider terms.
How long do veneers last?
Published studies report porcelain-veneer survival of roughly 90% or higher at 10 years [refs 1–2]. Survival is not the same as complication-free: outcomes vary with preparation design, remaining enamel, grinding habits, material, and maintenance. Many well-maintained porcelain veneers function beyond ten years; individual longevity varies. Composite veneers typically last around 2 years and are repairable chairside. At Lush, composite veneers carry a 2-year warranty and porcelain veneers a 5-year warranty.
Do veneers damage your teeth?
Porcelain veneers usually require permanent removal of a small amount of enamel. Conservative preparation improves bond predictability, but veneers are generally considered an irreversible treatment. Composite veneers can sometimes be completed with little or no tooth reduction in appropriately selected cases, and no-prep veneers — requiring little to no shaving at all — are possible for appropriately selected candidates. We review whitening, bonding, and orthodontic alternatives before recommending veneers.
Composite or porcelain — which should I choose?
Composite ($750) is 1–2 visits, repairable, and suits chips, small gaps, and first smile upgrades. Porcelain (from $1,700 on our current offer) is the most durable, stain-resistant, and enamel-like option, best for full smile designs. At a free consultation we'll design it custom to you and make a recommendation for your specific case.
Do you offer discounts for multiple veneers?
Yes. Smile designs of 4+ teeth qualify for package pricing, and every case is quoted individually — request your exact quote or book a free cosmetic consultation and we'll make it work for your budget.
Does insurance cover veneers?
Dental insurance generally classifies veneers as cosmetic and does not cover them; when a veneer also restores a damaged tooth, part of the treatment may qualify. We're in-network with most PPO plans and verify your benefits before any work begins.
Why choose Lush Dental Studio for veneers?
An in-house dental lab (design, shading, and adjustments on site), a four-doctor team led by Dr. Moid Khan, DDS, FAGD, FICOI, a 4.9-star rating across 1,200+ Google reviews, and Sacramento's Top Cosmetic Dentist award for 2024 & 2025 (Sacramento Favorites).
